Our client, a construction company is seeking to employ an Estimator.
To effectively prepare a tender document through considering all its functions including detailed analysis, pricing the bill of quantities, populating and analyzing the risks of the tender prior to submission. The Estimators role clarification includes but not limited to Analyzing information, Estimating, Planning, Report Research Results, Data Centre Experience, Strategic Planning, Attention to Detail, Communication & Requirement Analysis.

The executive director may instruct the employee at any time to carry out additional duties or responsibilities, which fall reasonably within the ambit of the job, or in accordance with operational requirements
Estimator Job Duties:
Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, drawings, specification, and related documents.
Identifies Labour, material and time requirements by thoroughly studying proposals, drawings, specification, and related documents.
Computes costs by analyzing Labour, material and time requirements.
Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
Maintains technical knowledge by continuously developing and researching.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

EXPERIENCE:
8-10 years with no qualification
3-5 years with qualification
3-5 years Quantity Surveyor

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
National Diploma in Building
B-Tech in Quantity Surveying
SALARY: CTC R25 000 to R35 000 per month
