Duties:
– Monitor, research and select local hedge funds for use by the portfolio management team
– Liaise with portfolio managers/ third party service providers
– Perform competitor and peer group analysis
– Setup, read and review legal agreements
– Prepare month end NAV reconciliations
– Run the year audit
Requirements:
– EE candidate
– Interpersonal and communication skills are critical
– Must have a keen interest in the markets
– Candidate needs a relevant finance degree, (Bcom/ BSc/CFA/ CA(SA))
– Ability to think quickly and logically i.e. be able to understand and analyze facts and data
– Good negotiating skills
– Team orientated
– Ability to network
