PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Client is seeking to employ a planner to manage the merchandise planning function for a
designated planning area within the fashion industry.
DUTIES:
Annual range conceptualization and budgeting
Season/quarterly/strategic plan designStore plans, size ratios, grids and inflow plan administration
Buying plan implementation and management
Competitor analysis
Achievement of designated planning department KPI’s
Achievement of Allocation department KPI’s
External customers & supplier relations-Supplier delivery and profitability management
SHE, Admin., Liaison and Reporting Dept/Staff Management/Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES AND ATRIBUTES:
Relevant tertiary qualification
At least five years’ experience in retail head office environment in a planning function
Numeracy and analytical skills
Planning system knowledge
Retail formulas and formulations
MS Office with advanced excel skills
Presentation skills
Retail related – Willing to work extra hours / travel
R24 000-R40 000 PER MONTH TCTC DEPENDANT ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
